Warranty Coverage

XPLORE CATS inflatable boats are covered by the following limited warranties from the date of
purchase by the original retail customer.

1.1 PVC Fabric (Tubes) – 3 Years
The Mehler PVC‐coated tube fabric is covered for three (3) years against porosity deterioration
that affects normal serviceability.

1.2 Air‐Holding Seams – 3 Years
Air‐holding seams are covered for three (3) years against delamination. A seam is considered
delaminated when the outer coating separates from the fabric base or the seam loses structural
strength.

1.3 Air-Deck Floor - 2 Years
Air-deck floor is covered for two (2) years against manufacturing defects including seam
delamination.

1.4 Accessories – 2 Years
Accessories— oars/paddles, oarlocks, hand pumps, seat benches, cushions, handles, valves,
D‐rings, and drain plugs—are covered for two (2) years against defects in materials and
workmanship.
 

What Is Not Covered Normal wear and tear; damage caused by neglect (including failure to
rinse salt/sand), lack of maintenance, accidents, improper installation, abnormal operation,
deterioration due to improper storage or prolonged UV exposure, alterations, or commercial
use, cosmetic issues such as fading, oxidation, or staining, use of improper cleaners, damage
caused from over-inflation or unauthorised repairs, misuse, negligence, or use of an engine
exceeding the stated maximum HP rating on the compliance plate.
 

Warranty Claim & Shipping Support To initiate a claim, customers must contact XPLORE
CATS for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

● Remote Evaluation: We first perform a comprehensive video/photo assessment. This
saves you from unnecessary shipping and identifies if the issue can be resolved locally.
● Shipping Logistics: If a physical inspection is required, we can help utilize commercial
freight accounts to book the collection on your behalf, often securing lower rates than retail shipping.
● The Guarantee: If the fault is found to be a manufacturing defect, XPLORE CATS covers 100% of the shipping costs. We will refund any shipping fees you paid to get the item to us and return the repaired/replaced product at our expense.
● Repair Timelines: Please allow 14–21 days for inspection after the product is received .\
If a repair requires specialized attention or parts from our international manufacturer, return times may vary. We will keep you updated throughout the process.
 

Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Statement Our goods come with guarantees that cannot
be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts, or
modifies those rights.
 

Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, XPLORE CATS, its
directors, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or
consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products. This includes, but
is not limited to, personal injury, property damage, loss of gear, loss of use, or costs of recovery
at sea. The user assumes all risk associated with the operation of this high-performance
catamaran. XPLORE CATS' total liability under this warranty is limited strictly to the repair or
replacement of the product itself.
